Batimat is one of the largest business spaces in the world dedicated to the Construction, Building Materials and Interiors sector.

Within the scope of the “MasterExport” project, the Cambra e Arouca Business Association (AECA), in partnership with the Águeda Business Association (AEA), within Portugal 2020, specifically, the Collective Action Support System (SIAC) – Qualification, and inserted in the thematic objective no. 3 – “Reinforcing the Competitiveness of SMEs” of the Operational Program Competitiveness and Internationalization, supported by the European Fund for Regional Development (ERDF), within the various planned activities, we highlight, at this moment, participation in the BATIMAT 2019 fair, in Paris, which took place from the 4th to the 8th of November, and this fair is considered one of the largest business spaces worldwide dedicated to the Construction, Building Materials and Interiors sector.
This project aims to strengthen the internationalization of SMEs in the Metalomechanical and Habitat sectors, creating new sales channels for countries with high potential and geographically close, in addition to enabling them to present themselves in these markets with goods of greater technological incorporation. It was in this sense that the presence of the two Associations at BATIMAT took place.
The promoting business associations operate in an enlarged region where most of the industrial companies in the Metalomecânica and Habitat sectors are located (furniture, decoration, home textiles, cutlery, utensils in the home sector, etc.) with proven capabilities at the level innovation and product development that respond with added value to the needs of the global market.
